The Emanuele Lab studies cell cycle regulation using systematic technologies and traditional cell, molecular and biochemical techniques.

The overarching focus of our lab is to determine how cell division is regulated in human cells. Our long-term goal is understand how cells loss control of normal cell division pathways, enabling the uncontrolled cell divisions and genome instability observed in cancer.

We are located in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina and are part of the Department of Pharmacology.
