The Emanuele Lab studies cell cycle regulation using systematic technologies and traditional cell, molecular and biochemical techniques.

The goal of our lab is to understand how human cells proliferate and divide. By determining how cells control their normal growth and division processes, we will gain a better understanding of the uncontrolled cell divisions and genome instability in cancer. It is our hope that this knowledge paves the way for improved therapies and patient outcomes in future.

We are members of the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina and are part of the Department of Pharmacology.
